The clerk was very informative with the schedule and what time to arrive downstairs The restaurant downstairs serves starbucks coffee but it isn't a starbucks. I called down to see if we needed to be on a list for the shuttle or just show up. The room was very hot when we entered and it never really cooled off. I don't know if the stairwell or whatever it was that was at the end of the hall was a service elevator but there was noise of what seem to be food trays being pushed is how I would describe it ALL night. whomever was in the room next to us kept trying to enter from the connecting door. we were located at the end of the hall however it was very noisy. If you wanted to see the lake you had to stand up and pull the curtains all the way back and lean to see a portion of the lake. Once I arrived to my room we had the view of the roof. The young man who greeted me stated I was upgraded to room with a view of the lake on a high floor. I was identified as a rewards member and Thanked for being loyal. However it was extremely noisy and I got no rest at all. We needed reasonable price close to airport with shuttle service.
It is gorgeous! We hope you will give us a second chance so that we can show you the Brilliant Service we normally provide. We just today finished an renovation of our fitness center with new flooring, walls, ceiling, and brand new, state of the art, equipment.
We are working on many projects this year to upgrade many of areas in the hotel, including guest rooms, T-Bone Charlie's, and the lobby gift shop. We do get our food stuffs from the best providers in the area and our meat products come from Kansas City's premier provider of meats. As for the pricing of our breakfast some guests do experience a bit of "sticker shock," but please know that we constantly compare ourselves to our nearest competitors to ensure that our pricing is comparable. We are sorry, though, that there were aspects of your experience that you did not enjoy.Your husband's experience with the room temperature is very frustrating because we just had brand new thermostats placed in all of the guest rooms, but it seems that room still needs some tweaking.
